About the Client

Shanthi Gynec, formerly Shanthi Shell Fertility Centre, has been running since 2017. The clinic offers fertility and gynaecology treatments including IVF, IUI, ICSI, laparoscopy, and pregnancy care. Most of their new patient enquiries come through local search.

Challenge

The clinic lost access to its original Google Business Profile. The registered email and recovery options were no longer reachable, so the older listing sat there with no one able to manage it. To stay visible, the client created a new profile. Google flagged it as a duplicate and suspended it within days.

That left the client with two unusable listings. One they couldn't access, one they couldn't recover from a suspension. For a fertility clinic where patients usually search "IVF near me" or "fertility doctor in Jayanagar", losing the GBP meant losing the most important discovery channel.

Our Approach & Strategy

We treated this as a documentation problem first, an appeals problem second.

• Documents Collection: We gathered everything Google's review team would ask for, including GST certificate, clinic registration, and business proof.
• Appeal filing: The reinstatement request went in within 2 to 3 days of onboarding, with all documentation attached in the first submission. We didn't wait for Google to ask.
• Client communication: We kept the clinic updated every few days so they weren't sitting in silence. Google's appeals process is opaque, and clients tend to assume nothing is happening. Regular updates prevented that.
• Profile successfully recovered within 10 days of raising the ticket
